I am a native to San Francisco, and currently reside in the Bay Area with my wife, two boys, and Chester (our rescue dog). My wife is an Architect and so our home often is abound with construction industry talk. I grew up as that kid who always liked to take things apart to the chagrin of my parents. But at some point I figured out how to put them back together and this has led me to my current passions, construction and cars. My family is involved with various charitable organizations such as Rotary and Homeless Prenatal Program.

In 1992, I graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Architecture, and proceed with the alternative route towards General Contracting. Looking back, I have had the good fortune working in an environment that valued integrity, relationships, hard work, and to have been involved with a wide variety of commercial project types. I have been an engineer, superintendent, project manager, and executive roles that provides me an encompassing view for construction. My approach has always been understanding the problem well, looking for all available solutions considering all factors, arriving at the most appropriate solution, and executing with intent, direction, and consistency.

The one aspect I truly appreciate is working with people in a collaborative manner that makes it rewarding for everyone involved. From the my own teams members, consultants, and vendors, I like creating this culture through leadership, experience, and cooperation that enables everyone to perform their utmost. This culture creates its own momentum, and brings a "can do" attitude that carries the project across the finish line. And when its all done, everyone has a smile and satisfaction for what has been accomplished, and a desire to do it all again.
